Paddock Lake’s annual pet parade took place this morning.
Organizer and village Trustee Karen Harris said the turnout was the best she remembered, despite there being a decided chill in the air.
Above is some video of the parade, which worked its way from Hoag Park to Village Hall.
A few prizes for biggest, smallest and oldest dog were handed out along with a first, second and third prize for best costume.
Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department K9 team Deputy Eric Klinkhammer and K9 Bear were also in attendance. Below, Klinkhammer explains what Bear can do and how he and the dog underwent their training:
