Central Falcons mens volleyball team captured their first SEC Conference title today in Burlington. The Falcons entered the tournament as the number 1 seed after an impressive conference record of 7-1, giving them a co-title with Franklin and Racine Horlick.

After sweeping both Muskego and Racine Park in pool play, they entered the Gold Bracket.

Burlington upset Horlick in their pool play, to advance against Bradford. Burlington prevailed against Bradford to make it to the final.

Central came out strong against Burlington, and finished strong in the first game with Mike Michelau finishing off the game with a run of 6 points, winning 25-15. In the second game, Central controlled the game and finished off the Demons with an impressive 25-14 win.

The Falcons open regional play next Friday versus Beloit Memorial. The match will be played at 7 p.m. at Central High School.
