A tree that fell over is reportedly blocking a westbound lane of Highway 50 at 236th Avenue in Paddock Lake at 10:21 p.m.
UPDATE 10:29 p.m.: Deputy at the scene reports that the tree appears to have been struck by a hit and run vehicle. Another deputy is searching for the vehicle, which should have sustained damage. Deputy said tree trunk is about 8 inches in diameter. Highway department is being called to assist with its removal.
