Robin "Byrd" Leydel
A benefit to aid the wife of a slain Brighton man will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 2 p.m. at Wagner’s Tavern, 23818 60th St. (Highway K), Brighton.
Robin “Byrd†Leydel died from a single gunshot to the chest following a home invasion on Oct. 13. Four men have been charged in connection with Leydel’s death.
He and his wife, Susan, were on disability from a car accident. Robin had no life insurance.
Tickets are $20. All proceeds will go to Susan to help defray funeral expenses.
There will be food and beverages. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the benefit.
