A resource fair for children with disabilities and those who are for them will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th St. (highways 50 and 45) Bristol.
Those attending can discover many resources available to families and educators whose children receive special education services in Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties. The resources focus on education, development, health and well being. Over 30 agencies will be represented.
Two programs also will be presented:
- 10 to 11:30 a.m., “Love & Logic Solutions for Kids with Special Needs.
- Noon to 1:30 p.m., “Parenting Successful Children,” (presented in English/Spanish).
Other activities include:
- Free fingerprinting/I.D. for children.
- Activities and prizes for children.
- Refreshments.
- Door prizes.
There is no fee to attend and no registration is required.
