Western Kenosha County is abuzz with double the homecoming excitement this week.
Both area high schools — Wilmot and Central — have homecoming the same week this year.
Despite being without a home field, the Central High School homecoming parade will go on as usual, said principal Thomas Baba. The parade will step off at 5 p.m. and take its usual route through Paddock Lake. The football game, however, will be at Indian Trail Academy’s field in Kenosha, due to the ongoing work at the Falcons new home. Indian Trail is located at 6800 60th St. The game starts at 7 p.m.
Wilmot’s parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at the school. The football Panthers will then meet Delavan-Darien at 7 p.m. at Frank Bucci Field. A bonfire follows at 9 p.m.
