Salem School on Monday officially opened its newly renovated library for grades kindergarten through second grade.

The library work was part of the addition and renovations going on at the school this summer.

The library is basically in the same place. But it now has walls and is not adjacent to the art classrooms.

“We’ve been asking for walls for a long time,” said librarian CJ Pfau. The walls will make for a more library like environment, without the distractions of pupils heading to art or physical education nearby.
