At 6:16 a.m., Salem Fire/Rescue is being dispatched to the 6700 block of 238th Avenue for a report of arcing wires.
It’s not known yet whether the wires have been knocked down.
UPDATE 6:23 a.m.: Fire department on scene and investigating report.
UPDATE 6:25 A.M.: Broken pole located. Wires not seen arcing now. Damage to be reported to We Energies.
UPDATE 6:41 a.m.: Fire department returning to quarters seeing no fire hazard.
