The Twin Lakes Village Board has formally set hours during which building activity can take place within the village.
Construction will now be allowed only during the hours of:
- 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.
- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
The board adding the hours to the village’s ordinance code formalizes a condition that the building inspector has been adding to individual building permits since 1991. Having the hours in the code will simplify enforcement and facilitate police department participation in that enforcement, said David Cox, village administrator.
