Some Western Kenosha County residents had a power outage over night.
A recorded phone call from We Energies said over 1,000 customers were effected.
We have a request in for more information. We’ll share what we find out.
UPDATE 10:27 a.m.: The outage affected about 1,200 customers and stemmed from a problem in Burlington, said Brad McNulty, a We Energies spokesman. The cause was an equipment failure caused by faulty connectors. The outage began around 3 a.m. and power was restored around 6:15 a.m.
