The world’s most popular brands will all be under one roof at the new seasonal Mattel Toy Store at the American Girl complex located at 12400 Fox River Road, Wilmot, Wisconsin, formerly the site of the Gander Mountain Outlet.

The Mattel Toy Store Regional Manager, Jeff Toboyek, said the store will carry a wide variety of Mattel products such as Fisher Price, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tyco R/C, and Power Wheels. The inventory will include current line toys, closeouts from previous toy lines, and many items discounted because of slightly imperfect packaging. Toboyek said the store will try to get a sampling of just about every toy. However, because of allocations to major customers and product availability, you may not see every new Mattel item in the store.

The store, which is scheduled to open to the public on November 3, 2009, will maintain regular retail hours. The 5,000 square-foot store is one of three seasonal Mattel Toy Stores to be added across the country, in addition to the seven permanent locations.

“The American Girl location makes sense for one of our seasonal stores because we already own the site and have adequate space for the operation,” Toboyek said. “It’s also a great benefit for the community.”

“The mission of our store is to offer the toys children love at everyday low prices adults love,” Toboyek concluded.

In addition to the normal retail operations of the store, there are also several charity projects in the works with local community organizations and businesses that will enable them to receive a charity discount when they shop at the store.
