The Riverview School gym will be the site of a showcase of Silver Lake and area businesses as the Greater Silver Lake Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its second annual Business Expo this Saturday.
Booths from local businesses will be featured in the gym at the school, 300 Prosser St., Silver Lake. This year, the event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., also will include a craft fair. Food from local vendors also will be served in the cafeteria.
Also included will be free document shredding service from Abraham On-Site Shredding Service from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Members of the public can bring in up to two bags of documents to be shredded in exchange for a donation to be given the The Sharing Center .
The program schedule for the day includes
- 9 a.m. — Opening Ceremonies.
- 9:30 a.m. — State Sen. Robert Wirch.
- 10 a.m. — State Rep. Samantha Kerkman.
- 10:30 a.m. Stephanie Phillips, Western Kenosha County Transit coordinator.
- 11 a.m. — Gloria Davis – Local Author of “Let’s Do Lunch.â€
- Noon to 1 p.m. — Lyle Holthaus of Turkey River Music.
- 1:30 p.m. — Lyle Holthaus of Turkey River Music.
