Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave. , Bristol, will be hosting two events Saturday, Sept. 19.
- Pringle Plein Air will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Rozanne Cifaldi will facilitate a plein air (outdoor) experience at Pringle where you will explore the nature center and capture the essence of the outdoors. - A Saturday Night Campfire Talk will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Come sit by the campfire and learn about nature. Monarch butterflies are beginning to migrate and citizen scientists are helping to learn more about this butterfly through Monarch Watch by
tagging and releasing the butterflies. Come to learn the life history and why people are tagging monarchs. You’ll be able to see how monarchs are tagged and help release them for the migratory journey to Mexico. Friends are free and the general public $2. Call 262-857-8008 for more information.
