The Salem town government is joining in the protest of the removal of WTTW from the Time-Warner Cable channel line-up available in this area.
Chairman Linda Valentine brought up the possibility of working with county Supervisor Terry Rose on a joint protest to the action. The board voted unanimously to support Valentine contacting Rose, who is sponsoring a County Board resolution protesting the programming change.
Time-Warner pulled the channel recently from Kenosha area line-ups, saying viewers could tune in to Milwaukee’s two public television channels, which are being retained, for similar programing.
