SBA loan deadline is Sept. 14 for June flooding victims

From Kenosha County Emergency Management:

Time is running out for those affected by the June 19th storms and flooding that hit Kenosha County. Flood victims have until September 14th to apply for SBA Low Interest Loans.

sba-logo“As of September 1st, 216 Kenosha County residents had requested SBA Low Interest loans; 108 loans were submitted to the SBA and to date 61 loans have been approved totaling $1,593,900,” stated Ben Schliesman, Director, Kenosha County Emergency Management.

Loan applications can be requested from the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the hearing-impaired) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA Web site at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance. Completed applications should be returned to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155. Residents may also apply directly on-line for a low interest disaster loan from SBA’s secure Web site at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.
