The Twin Lakes Village Board Monday night passed, with little to no comment, two ordinances that have been discussed here before.
- Vendors in association with events already otherwise sanctioned by the village can be exempted from obtaining a peddler’s permit. An example would be Libertyfest. Whether a vendor is an official part of the event will be up to the organizing body. The ordinance also now includes an exemption for businesses solicting other businesses.
- Standards were established for the height of grass and noxious weeds allowed on vacant lots.
