If you live in Bloomfield in Walworth County you will be able to launch your boat for the same fee as a Randall resident after action by the Randall Town Board Thursday.
The board agreed to begin allowing Bloomfield residents to purchase annual passes at the same rate as Randall residents. Powers Lakes lies about one third in Bloomfield on its west side, but the two public launches are in Randall.
The move comes as the Randall and Bloomfield boards have been working cooperatively on ordinances that govern the lake, said Randall town Chairman Bob Stoll.
“”We thought it would be a nice gesture to extend this to Bloomfield,” Stoll said.
Resident season launch fees remain are $15 this season. Non resident season launch fees are $22.50 . Daily launch fees are $7 for resident and non residents.
