If you’ve been reading these daily posts about the Kenosha County Fair and thinking it sounds like great fun but you had no way to get there you’re in luck.

Western Kenosha County Transit will provide special routes to the fair Wednesday through Saturday.

fair-pig2-09Fares are $2 one way or $10 for a  monthly pass. Drop off is near the gate; you have to trudge through the parking lot and can save your feet for walking around the fair itself.

Here’s the schedule. Call dispatch at 888-203-3498 if you need more information about how you can take the bus to the fair. Riders needing a wheelchair lift are also encouraged to call ahead to ensure the right vehicle picks you up.

This year’s fair runs from Aug. 19-23.
