Firefighters, deputies and utility crews are responding to a rash of down branches, wires and resulting fires this evening.
Conditions are busy enough that a general call for all available Salem firefighters to report to the station was made at 11:39 p.m.

The wind rolled our grill about 8 feet and tipped it over. Siding off the side of the house. Whole house was shaking for awhile and lights flickering.
