New play equipment designed for small children will be installed at Sunset Beach Park.
The Village Board signed off on the $14,208 purchase Monday.
Included is the play structure, border timbers, an accessible entry ramp and 12,000 pounds of black shredded rubber surfacing.
The installation will take place in conjunction with other work at the park being overseen by the Lake District.
Funds for the equipment are provided by the sale of a lot at Willow and Park, which was donated for a tot lot park.
Sunset Beach Park is located on the Lake Elizabeth shore, at Sunset Drive east of Lakeshore Way.
