You may not be able to tell it’s summer by the weather but here’s a sure sign — the Kenosha County Fair is just four weeks away.
The fair will take place this year from Aug. 19-23 at the fairgrounds in Wilmot adjacent to Wilmot High School. The theme this year is “something to crow about.” Daily admission is $8 for 12 years old and above. Ages 8 to 11 are $4 a day and children 7 and under are free. A season ticket for adults is $25 and $6 for ages 8 to 11. Seniors 62 and older have daily admission of $5 on Wednesday only, senior citizens day.
The fair is a truly a something for everyone event. Animals, art, rides, music, racing, food and more. And it’s the ultimate all ages event too.
Leading up to the fair and tying in with this year’s theme, West of the I daily will publish a “Daily Crow” highlighting some aspect of the fair. Keep coming back to learn more about what’s going to be happening at the fair and find out why it really is “something to crow about.
