A construction worker died after collapsing on the roof of Salem School Tuesday.
Randy J. Benish was pronounced dead at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha, Sheriff’s Department reports said.
Rescue crews and a deputy were dispatched to the school, which is undergoing an additon and renovation, at about 9:30 a.m.
When the deputy arrived, Salem Fire/Rescue personnel were performing CPR on Benish. A co-worker told the deputy Benish complained of not feeling well, grabbed his chest and fell to the roof.
Benish was transported from the scene to Aurora and pronounced dead just before 11 a.m., the report said.
