Members of the Randall School Board were concerned a new concrete walk under construction outside the school might be narrower than specifications. After the matter came up a couple of times during a board meeting last Wednesday, board Vice President Bill Jones suggested they all put their minds at rest and go out and inspect the walk. Board member Gary Franzen paced off the walk to confirm that it was indeed the specified six feet. Then all returned to the library and finished up the night’s proceedings.
Technically that might not be hands on, but it was at least feet on.
