With a holiday weekend looming, Salem has announced that lakes there are still under a slow, no wake order for boat traffic — at least until an re-evaluation of the situation Thursday.
Some lakes are below their specified no wake levels, but shoreline erosion is still a concern there necessitating the continued no wake order, a statement released by the town Wednesday said.
