Another class of future kindergarten pupils is a little more aware of safety thanks to Kathy Harris Safety Town.

The class of 2009 graduated Friday at Bristol School.

Through the course the students learn about a number of safety topics, such as traffic, bikes, being a pedestrians, strangers and the school bus. Jill  Wagner leads the local lessons for the program, which is sponsored here by Westosha Kiwanis.

Each student this year got a bicyle helmet, handed out by Kenosha County sheriff’s Deputy Ray Rowe, better known to the students as Deputy Friendly.

Here the students sing a song about a safety device, which they performed for their parents in the audience.
