Sheriff’s deputies are looking for three suspects who robbed a convenience store in the 20000 block of 75th Street, Bristol, early Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the report of an armed robbery at 12:46 a.m. The suspects had already left the store and were last seen headed eastbound on foot with no vehicle in sight.
All of the suspects displayed similar handguns with long black barrels, said Sgt. Gil Benn, Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
An employee was in the store cleaning up and did not see the men enter the building. One of the suspects held a gun to the employee’s head and demanded cash, Benn said. That suspect then emptied the register and all three left.
The Sheriff’s Department and other area police agencies have been investigating a rash of recent robberies in the area for possible connections.
