The Town of Wheatland’s Firemen’s Festival turns 40 years old this year.

This year’s dates are June 26 through 28.
This year’s festival will include musical entertainment, a poker run and a parade in addition to the usual softball tournament, volleyball tournament, children’s games, water fights, beer pavilion, live entertainment and food.
On Friday evening, 4 Lane Highway will perform. Saturday, there will be New Dog Trick with an interactive kids show following the parade.
The parade is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday start and will run along Old Highway 50 through downtown New Munster.
