Kenosha County will be hearing from Randall about some culverts.

The town recently received notice from the county that culverts need to be replaced due to a widening project on county Highway F, near Randall School. Inspection of the area by town personnel showed three culverts will have to be replaced.

But the Town Board decided Thursday that the cost for the culverts ought to be paid by the county since the widening is a county project.

At most, Chairman Robert Stoll said, the town might have to pay for the culvert materals, but the rest ought to be paid by the county.
