The Silver Lake Fire and Rescue Squad Auxiliary will host a bake sale to celebrate the beginning of summer on June 19 at the American Legion Hall on Cogswell Drive (Highway B) in Silver Lake.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
Homemade cakes, cookies and other baked goods will be available. All proceeds will go to the Silver Lake Fire Department, rescue squad and dive team.
Anyone wishing to donate baked items should bring them to the American Legion before 4:15 p.m. on the day of the sale.
