Creative Outlets and the Seno Woodland Education is proud to present “Goody Two Shoes” by Paul Reakes, June 19, 20 and 21, at 7 p.m.
The play is a fanciful story of good versus evil in a magical world of reality and make-believe. Molly Coddle’s daughter, Goody, finds a beautiful pair of shoes while wandering deep in the fearsome forest. Little does she know that they belong to an evil sorceress who has handed them over to the elf cobbler for repair. When Goody puts on the shoes all of her wishes magically start to come true, but not without some comical twists and turns along the way. Each night the audience plays an important part in the show interacting with the characters on stage.
There is lots of family fun, colorful characters and clever word play throughout this fast-flowing comedy. Rolo and Polo, the clownish assistants to Septica the evil Sorceress, do battle with the spoiled little Cissie who is running from the lovesick Teddy and manipulating her money-grubbing Uncle Titus Tightwad. The ever gallant Simon has his heart magically torn between Cissie and Goody. When the villagers and the forest demons join in the action, chaos and comedy go hand-in-hand.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under and Senior Citizens. The play will be preformed outside, and seating is limited to 60 people. Call 262-539-3222 or email senocenter@senocenter.org for tickets.
