This year’s Wheatland Firemen’s Festival — the 40th — will include a parade on Saturday, June 27.
Organizers are looking for groups and businesses to participate.
The parade is scheduled for 1 p.m. start and will run along Old Highway 50 through downtown New Munster.
Candy throwing is encouraged., organizers say.
