The man who died after a motorcycle crash Sunday has been identified as Gerald M. Krzeszewski, 51, of Antioch.
The crash was reported by a passing motorist in the 8900 block of county Highway JI (328 Avenue) at about 9:30 p.m. Deputies discovered a motorcycle had been southbound on Highway JI when it drifted off-road into the west ditch. Krzeszewski, the lone operator, was ejected from the cycle and struck a mailbox.
He was transported to Burlington Hospital by rescue, where he was later pronounced dead.
There were no witnesses, or other vehicles involved, said Sgt. Gil Benn, Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
