World War II and drumming will be the focus of two different session at the Community Library this week.
John Duggleby will present a “Sentimental Journey” through America’s World War II era featuring live music and historic radio broadcasts. The program will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21, at the Salem site, 24615 89th St.
Registration is required. This program is for adults.
On Saturday, May 23, a drumming program will be presented by “Rhythm in the Round.” Audience participation will be encouraged.
This program is for adults and will be at the Salem site, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. No registration is required.
