The Selection Committee of Gateway Techincal College has named Scott Pierce, district administrator at Central High School, for a vacant GTC Board of Trustees post.
Rebecca Vail, district administrator at Lakewood School in Twin Lakes, was also selected for reappointment to a board term.
While neither lives west of the I, they are part of west of the I education.
Both selections will need to gain final approval from the Wisconsin Technical College System board in mid-May, said Lee Colony, a GTC spokesman.
Gateway Technical College has campuses in Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties.
