Self-defense classes offered at church

Grand Master Holcombe Thomas is featured in an all-day Hapkido seminar on Saturday, May 2, at First Christian Church. Also open to the public that day is an afternoon of self-defense classes for women and children of all ages. 

The Hapkido seminar will run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The cost for the all day event is $50 and includes lunch. 

The self-defense classes start at 1 p.m. and runs until 5 p.m. The classes are organized by age and are $10 per hour or $30 for the entire afternoon.

First Christian Church of Kenosha is located on the north side of  Highway C just west of I-94 and serves all of Kenosha County.

Call the church at 857-4743 to reserve a spot in the seminar or check times for the specific age group self-defense classes.
Thomas is a 7th Dan in the Korean Hapkido Federation.
