The Fox River is still on the rise, but not expected to get quite as high as thought earlier in the week.
The National Weather Service’s current prediction is for the Fox at New Munster to peak at 13.1 inches. As of 4:45 this morning, it was at 12.7 inches.
The rain should take a breather today after this morning and last through tomorrow during the day. But a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain returns Wednesday night and continues through Friday. High temperatures only in the 50s today and Wednesday.
