The Seventh Annual No Joke at Brighton Dale Charity Golf Outing, which benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and Westosha Kiwanis, is looking for sponsors.
Support from donating raffle prizes to monetary donations are sought. Nearly $35,000 has been raised through this event over the last six years. This year, organizers have a fundraising goal of $15,000.
Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Kiwanis is a community service organization, which locally has sponsored safety education for children entering kindergarten, an annual Easter egg hunt and spearheaded the building of a cabin for people with disabilities at Bong State Recreation Area in Brighton.
Sponsorship levels include three levels. And of course there is golf, which is $90 per golfer. The format is four-person best ball scramble. The outing will be June 19.
