Cat scat headed for lab

mountain_lioncrop-wikicom1There’s no news on the mountain lion front, Marty Johnson, wildlife biologist for the Department of Natural Resources, said Monday night. Johnson was part of the DNR contingent at the Kenosha County Conservation Congress meeting at Bristol School.

However,  cat droppings found near Union Grove have been sent to a lab for analysis and identification, Johnson said.

The publicity from the reported Twin Lakes sighting did generate a couple more calls about possible sightings, but nothing conclusive, Johnson said.
