Here are your chances to talk to Paul Ryan

paul-ryanHave something to ask U.S. Rep Paul Ryan? You’ll have two kind of opportunities this month.

Ryan is going to be making local visits this week. Tuesday he’ll be in Burlington from 12:15 to 1:15pm, at Gateway Technical College, room 100, 496 McCanna Parkway and in Union Grove from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at Community State Bank, 1500 Main St. On Wednesday, he’ll be in Lake Geneva from 3 to 4 p.m. at the  Public Library, 918 West Main St. I know those aren’t strictly West of the I visits, but they’re close enough, and maybe more convenient for some of you. On Thursday, Ryan will be at Twin Lakes from 11 a.m. to noon at Village Hall, 108 East Main St. and in Silver Lake from 1 to 2 p.m. at Village Hall, 113 South First St.

Later in the month and throughout the summer, Ryan’s mobile office unit will be around. He won’t be there, but someone from his staff will be. Here’s the schedule:

  • Paddock Lake: Thursdays, April 30, May 28, June 25 and July 16 from noon to 1 p.m., parking lot of Cheryl L. Spencer Memorial Field across from Old Settlers Park, 24100 75th St.
  • Silver Lake: Thursdays, April 30, May 28, June 25 and July 16 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., street parking outside the Silver Lake Village Hall, 113 South First St.
  • Twin Lakes: Thursdays, April 30, May 28, June 25 and July 16 from 3 to 4 p.m., street parking in front of the Twin Lakes Chamber of Commerce, downtown.
