Wheatland Center School students played school faculty in a basketball game Thursday afternoon as the send-off into Spring Break. The game marked the culmination of a week of spirit activities.
In case you were thinking this occasion wasn’t that big of a deal, let me say that students were allowed to eat popcorn in the gym during the game. That’s not a rule that gets broken every day.
Here’s some video of the girls team playing the women faculty members. It ends with the first points of the game — by the students.
The game was close but the faculty managed to maintain their dignity and eke out a victory, 37 to 33.
