Remembering Nate Walter and raising money for new Wilmot tech scholarship

The Nate Walter Run-Walk raised money for a new technology scholarship in his name. Participants gathered at Wilmot High School Wednesday evening. The first walk benefited the Ronald McDonald House. Wilmot UHS baseball team heading to state tournament

The Wilmot Union High School baseball team is headed to the state tournament. The Panthers earned their berth by defeating Indian Trail High School on Tuesday in the sectional final. Next up for Wilmot will be a quarterfinal game versus Middleton at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17 at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium, Grand Chute.

The Wilmot Union High School girls basketball team defeated McFarland 60-58 in a sectional semi-final game of the state tournament Thursday at Waukesha West. That victory advances Wilmot to the sectional championship game. They will play DeForrest on Saturday at Janesville Craig.
