The Randall Fire Department celebrated its 25th anniversary with an open house today at Station Number 2 at Highways KD and F. Randall to replace water patrol boats

Firefighter Norden funeral photos

Funeral services for Firefighter EMT-Paramedic Eric Norden were held today at Holy Cross Church-West in Wilmot.

Rescue responding to Lance Park for injured skier

At 6:36 p.m., Twin Lakes Rescue and village police are responding to report of an injured water skier at Lance Park. Dispatch reports that the injured skier was part of the Aquanuts Show. Man on dirt bike fleeing deputy strikes pole

A man who fled after a sheriff's deputy attempted to stop him crashed in Paddock Lake early this morning. Sgt. Gil Benn, Sheriff's Department spokesman, said today at 4:20 a.m. a patrol deputy observed a subject operating a trail bike without lights on Highway 50 at 236th Avenue, Paddock Lake. Twin Lakes sees increase in insurance cost

Twin Lakes will be paying a little more for its insurance coverage for the next year. The Village Board also has chosen to add insurance against its employees being robbed while carrying village cash. This year's premium will be $97,734, about $4,100 more than last year, with the added insurance. Units responding to report of car fire on Highway 50, Salem

At 11:13 a.m., Salem Fire/Rescue is responding to a report of a possible car fire in about the 27800 block Highway 50 (75th Street), Salem. Fire Department prevails in Twin Lakes annual Guns vs. Hoses game

The Twin Lakes fire and police departments got together today for a little friendly competition on the softball field at Legion Park for the third annual Guns vs. Hoses softball game. In the end, the fire department team defeated the police department team 20-10. That result gives the fire department the edge in the series 2-1. Here are some photos from the event:

Kenosha County Parks is hosting an "After Dark in the Park"  at Silver Lake Park, Area 6/Beach, on Aug. 20.

Boy hit by car in Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes Police Department reporting that a 10-year-old boy was hit while riding his bicycle, suffering injuries to his arm. When police arrived at the location of the accident, 511 Wilmot Ave, neither the car or the boy were on the scene. Dog parks fees to be required as of Aug. 16
