At 7:20 a.m., a power outage has darkened traffic signals at Highway 50 intersections with Highway 45, Highway 83 (south) and Highway B as well as Central High School. Power out in Bristol
Bristol resident Chad is reporting that there is a power outage right now in Bristol. Deputies also have been responding to reports of traffic signals without power. Chad said the outage started around 10 p.m. UPDATE 3:17 a.m. — Power was restored about midnight, a We Energies spokesman said. About 2,700 customers were effected. Source was a faulty cable.

The Bristol School Board meeting tonight was interrupted three times by the power flicking off and then on again. Don’t know if that was just at the school or elsewhere as well. UPDATE 10:15 p.m. — Salem Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a down line.
