The “Riverside” Rob Draganski benefit will be held Aug. 28, at Bay Billiards & Sports Bar, 107 Towne Centre Lane, Fox Lake, Ill.
Draganski, who performed in the area, was a promising blues guitarist with a passion for music from a very young age. On Friday, May 11, 2007, at 22, his life was cut short by a drink driver.
Proceeds from the event will go to M.A.D.D. and VH1 Save The Music.

Wilmot Free Masons donate $1,000 to The Sharing Center
Wilmot Free Masons recently presented a check for $1,000 to The Sharing Center.
The money came from a fundraiser the Masons hosted on July 17 called Raise a Roof Over Poverty.
The event included a scenic motorcycle ride, music, food, raffles, etc.

Scout collecting toy animals for Eagle project
Matt Schutz, a Life Scout with Troop 385 in Bristol, is currently working on an Eagle Scout Project. He is collecting Beanie-Baby-type toys that will be sent to U.S. Troops in Iraq and/or Afghanistan to give to children they encounter while on patrol.
