Sign-up for Conservation Reserve Program under way

Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast coverage

If it's the Saturday before Father's Day then it's Kenosha County Dairy Breakfast day.

This year's event was held at Crane Dairy in Brighton on Saturday. Typical attendance is over 2,000 for the annual event. UW Extension offering youth tractor safety course

UW Extension is offering a Youth Tractor Safety Course. Racine, Kenosha and Walworth counties will be collaborating to provide tractor safety education for youth ages 12-16. The course will be a total of 24 hours in length. This course is required by Wisconsin for any youth between the ages of 12 and 16 that will be driving farm machinery on public roads. St. John’s Farmer’s market gearing up

The St. John the Evangelist Farmer's Market in Twin Lakes is gearing up for its season. The market will take place every Saturday from 8 to 11:30 a.m., May 8 through Oct. 23 at the church, 701 North Lake Ave., Twin Lakes. The market will focus on locally grown and produced agricultural and food products such as flowers, meat, produce, baked goods and honey.
