The Central High School softball team won their state tournament quarterfinals game today at Goodman Diamond in Madison. The Falcons defeated Racine Case 8 to 4. Stats and a play by play summary is available here. Next up for Central will be a semifinals game Friday versus Hortonville. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Goodman Diamond.

Central softball head back to state tournament

The Central High School softball team is headed back to the state tournament. The Falcons earned their way back to Madison by defeating Union Grove in the #5 sectional final at Wilmot Thursday. Emergency workers conduct mock drill at Central HS

Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters conducted a mock disaster drill at Central High School Thursday. The mock drill takes the form of a disastrous prom night accident. The exercise is designed to get students to face in realistic terms the consequences of drinking and driving.
