Scout Troop 328 celebrates anniversary with reunion

Boy Scout Troop 328 always hosts a breakfast on Super Bowl Sunday.

But this year's event was a little different. It just happened to sync up with Scouting's 100th anniversary. To mark that event the troop decided to extend a special invitation to all past Troop 328 Scouts to come to the breakfast. That call was heard. Paris Boy Scout awarded Eagle rank

Samantha Kerkman shared the following info: The Boy Scouts of America welcomed its newest Eagle Scout, Michael Meade, during a Court of Honor ceremony on Friday, Jan. 8, at Paris Town Hall. Scout troop to host breakfast and 100th anniversary celebration

Boy Scout Troop 328 in Salem will be having their annual Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast on Feb 7, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Salem School, 8828 Antioch Road (Highway 83). In recognition of the 100th anniversary of Scouting, the troop invites former members of the troop for a reunion at the breakfast. Cub Scout Pack 328 to host breakfast, auction, bake sale Nov. 15

Cub Scout Pack 328 will host a porky and pancake breakfast Sunday, Nov. 15 at Salem Grade School, north cafeteria, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The full menu will be pancakes, sausage, eggs, milk, juice and coffee. Kerkman informs Scouts on government and cheese snack bill

State Rep. Samantha Kerkman recently visited Webelo Scout packs 328 and 329 during a joint pack meeting to assist them with fulfilling service project requirements in civics. During the meeting, Rep. Pringle to host hike haunted by Scouts

There are a lot of haunted activity options this time of year. If you have younger children in your group, you might want to try the Pringle Nature Center for your  ghoulish good time. Scouts seek return of log splitter

Cub Scout Pack 343 in Twin Lakes had hit on a great fundraiser. They were selling firewood cut from trees that would have ended up in landfills. Good for the Pack and even good for the environment, right? After they got started, the Pack connected with the power company that said they could supply otherwise unwanted trees.
