Salem School participates in Pennies for Patients

Recently, Salem School students and staff participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual Pennies for Patients event. Donations were collected to help the organization find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Salem students, their families, and school staff raised $4,600 for this worthy cause.

Two classes in particular raised over $600 each. Jennifer Meier’s third grade class raised $627 and Kelly Rynberg’s 5th grade class raised $621.
