Central HS students compete at 2018 FBLA conference

Westosha Central High School’s Future Business Leaders of America members competed at Pewaukee High School on Saturday, Feb. 3.

While at the conference members attended an opening session where they participated in a March of Dimes Miracle Moment that raised over $400, attended various workshops and then competed in their events. FBLA has over sixty events from members to choose from. Students can take a written test, give a presentation, do a role play or even create an electronic career portfolio. There were over 650 students in attendance.

Students who place in the top 3 in their events earn the right to compete at State Leadership Conference. This year’s State Leadership Conference is being held in La Crosse on April 9 & 10. This year’s FBLA slogan is Elevate Your Future.
