The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.

The advisory is in effect from midnight to noon Sunday.

The latest, local NWS forecast is calling for snow to start after midnight and continue at least until 8 a.m. and perhaps beyond to noon. Accumulation here could be 1 to 3 inches during the advisory period.

That’s it for snow for now until next weekend. There’s also a bit of a warm-up in the forecast with high temperatures Tuesday through Thursday being over 30 and Wednesday perhaps reaching 40.
